Ian Wright responded to the online trolls who made fun of Eni Aluko analysis of Brazil’s game and Richarlison against South Korea in the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup after her video goes viral
In the end, Brazil won 4-1 because Tite’s team played so well in the first half, scoring four goals in less than 40 minutes. The best goal was Richarlison’s, which he scored with help from Thiago Silva. It was his third goal of the tournament.
The striker has scored 20 goals for Brazil in just 41 games for the national team, which is a great record. Aluko was one of the commentators for the game on ITV, along with Graeme Souness and Roy Keane. After the game, she made a mistake when she tried to figure out the Brazilian’s goals-per-game ratio.
Eni Aluko Makes Bemusing Assesment Of Richarlison And Brazil, Video Goes Viral
She said, Richarlison has really made a big difference. In the last two years, he has scored the most goals for Brazil. He has a great record. He has scored 19 goals in 40 games, which is pretty much one goal per game.
Fans were quick to point out the mistake of the former Lionesses star, but Wright has stood up for her and told fans to “grow up.”
What Did Ian Wright Say About Eni Aluko?
Wright, who is also a commentator at this year’s World Cup, pointed out that Aluko has made plenty of mistakes on live TV in the past and that people’s criticism of her is completely unjustified. He said, that he has made a lot of mistakes live on air.
I've made countless mistakes live on air. The replies to this are horrible. You man are so pressed by women in football that you take pure pleasure in this. Grow up. https://t.co/QEwMl4ek9Q

Aluko also talked back to her haters on Twitter, making a joke about how she didn’t know much about math and posting a clip of another analysis of Richarlison from the game.
Aluko Defending Herself With Her Wit
She said, she got a first-class law degree and a doctorate, but math was never her strong suit. That the math on Richarlison is that he scores almost 1 in 2 games. But some of you strange Twitterati already knew that. She also said that people might also be able to learn something from the rest of the analysis that was ignored.
Got myself a First class law degree, 102 caps & a Doctorate but Maths wasn’t always my forte☺️
Nearly 1 in 2 games is the math on Richarlison. But some of you weirdo twitterati knew that already.
Might also learn from the rest of the analysis conveniently ignored. https://t.co/AyD3cugkyJ

Richarlison’s impressive run of goals keeps going. His first game for Brazil was in 2018, and he has since become the team’s top striker. The 25-year-old was on the Brazil team that came in second place at the Copa America in 2021, and he scored a hat-trick in his first Olympic game in Toyko in 2020.
He scored twice against Serbia in the first game of this year’s World Cup. One of the goals was a spectacular bicycle kick. Richarlison joined Spurs this season after playing for Everton for four years, but he hasn’t scored a Premier League goal for the North London club yet. But when he first played in the Champions League against Marseille in September, he scored twice.
