Fans have claimed that Ronald Koeman was sniffing coke/cocaine in a viral video
TV cameras picked up Koeman picking his nose in the dugout before putting his finger in his mouth and smiling. However, according to some fans, Koeman was really snorting cocaine and tried to hide it by eating his bogeys instead. While the video of the incident has gone viral, nothing asserts towards the fact that Koeman was actually sniffing coke during the encounter.

He has even suggested he could ”write a book” about his time there. In his latest comments, Koeman pointed out the stagnation under Xavi and claimed he didn’t receive the same patience from club president Joan Laporta as his successor did.
What Did Ronald Koeman Say?
Earlier, in an interview Koeman said, “I did not receive the same support from the president as Xavi received.
“When I was fired, we were nine points behind Madrid. Now, they are ten points behind. To be successful, you need the president’s support.”

Although Xavi won the league title and the Spanish Super Cup after taking over, and successfully integrated young talents like Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez, his tenure ended in controversy after just two and a half seasons.
He was replaced by former Bayern and Germany boss Hansi Flick. Flick’s mission is to restore Barcelona to trophy-winning form after a barren 2023-24 season.
However, he faces significant challenges, as the club is still grappling with financial issues and is currently unable to register 9 first-team players for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, arch-rivals Real Madrid have strengthened their squad by signing PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, following their La Liga and Champions League triumphs.
