Neymar allegedly only noticed the theft later, as he was heading to his pre-match warm-up and the stolen ring was later put up for auction with a price tag of 15,000 euros.
“You guys are going crazy! Just this week, there have been three fake news stories. A page this size, full of followers, spreading lies. It makes things difficult… it’s a shame that Brazil treats me like this,” Neymar said.

Cristiano Ronaldo will replace Neymar
In place of the injured Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked to a move to Al-Hilal. The Saudi Pro League team is reportedly prepared to cut the Brazilian’s contract and add the Portuguese striker to their roster.
The 39-year-old has scored 68 goals in 78 games for Al-Nassr since making the big-money move from Manchester United, so the move would cause a stir in Saudi football. Neymar suffered an ACL injury that kept him out of action for a year. During the AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal, he suffered a hamstring injury in his second game back and was replaced less than half an hour later.
Neymar has only participated in seven games since joining Al-Hilal till 2025, with one goal and three assists.
