According to reports, the event took place during the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets’ championship game. TMZ broke the news of the incident, which apparently happened on June 9. Conor and the accuser may be seen in viral video footage from the incident. Following the video release, McGregor’s attorney Barbara R. Llanes provided MMA Fighting with the following statement in response to the footage.

“The claimant’s counsel has revised the claimant’s version after TMZ released the video. Mr McGregor welcomes the probe because he is confident it will disprove the accusations made against him. She resorted to the media to exert pressure after failing to comply with the claimant’s counsel’s demand for payment. This merely amounts to a shakedown.”

The claimed victim’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, informed the public through her demand letters that the accused was separated from her companion by Heat and NBA security and was compelled to use the arena restroom. Then, according to claims, McGregor allegedly pressed himself against her and even tried to rape her. Conor was not seen ‘forcing’ her to the restroom in the tape that was made public, which refutes the first accusations.

At this time, ‘The Notorious’ has not been charged with anything for this incident, nor has he been taken into custody. The Miami Heat Mascot was violently knocked out by Conor on the same day, which he later said was a joke. Conor also received criticism for this incident.

Previous claims of harassment against Conor McGregor

The evidence implies that Conor has already faced accusations of improper behaviour. Earlier in 2019, a woman accused McGregor of Conor raping her in Dublin in 2018. No charges were brought on Conor as a result of his team’s denial of all claims. However, the claimed plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion in 2021.

Conor was charged with attempted s*xual assault and indecent exposure in 2020 on the French island of Corsica. He was thus taken into jail by French police, where he even had to stay for two days. But after eight months, the accusations were withdrawn for a lack of proof.

An unidentified lady in her 40s brought the most recent assault accusation against Conor. She said that during Conor’s birthday celebration on a yacht in Ibiza, she had first been verbally and then physically assaulted. The woman filed a lawsuit against Conor but abruptly dropped it in February.
