The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has released a statement on this young player’s untimely death.
He and three other colleagues had travelled from Guwahati to Shillong to compete in the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships, which began today.
The road collision also injured Ramesh Santosh Kumar, Avinash Prasannaji Srinivasan, and Kishore Kumar, who was riding with Vishwa. According to the medics who are treating them, all three are in stable condition.

Vishwa Deenadayalan was a table tennis player from India. Before his untimely death, he was going to compete in the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships, which will take place in Shillong, Meghalaya.
He was born in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, in the city of Chennai. At the time of his death, he was 18 years old. He completed his schooling in his hometown. He had a good education and was studying B.com however the name of the institute is not known.. With a height of 5 feet and 9 inches, he weighed 60kg.
There is no information on his parents name but both of them are alive.
His Career
Vishwa, a young player who has won several national ranking championships and international medals, was set to represent India at the WTT Youth Contenders in Linz, Austria, beginning April 27. Vishwa made a smooth transition from cadet through sub-junior to junior. He has won national cadet and sub-junior titles.
Vishwa Deendayalan was an up-and-coming Indian table tennis player. He already has several national ranking titles and international medals to his credit at such a young age.
Vishwa was taught in Anna Nagar’s Krishnaswamy TT Club. Ramnath Prasad and Jai Prabhu Ram were his teachers. Achant Sharath Kamal, India’s great table tennis player, was likewise charmed by Vishwa Deendayalan’s talent and praised him.
Vishwa has been described as a “highly talented player” by Sharath Kamal. Vishwa’s ascent to fame was not without setbacks. He faced so many struggles in his earlier life.
His Death Cause
Vishwa died in a road accident while he was going by cab from Guwahati to Shillong, to compete in the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships. His body will be transferred to Chennai on Monday.
