Vishnu was born on the 2nd of December 1993 in Kallisseri, Thiruvalla, Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district and is aged 28 at the moment with a height of 5 feet and 7 inches. He attended MGM Higher Secondary School in Thiruvalla and High School Ranni in Perunad for his education. He graduated from Mar Thoma College in Thiruvalla with a BA in Political Science.
Domestic Career
On 3 April 2014, he made his Twenty20 debut for Kerala against Karnataka in the 2014-15 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season. On 10 November 2014, he made his List A debut against Hyderabad in the 2014-15 Vijay Hazare Trophy season in Kerala. In the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, he made his first-class debut for Kerala.
He made his first-class century against Madhya Pradesh in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy, batting 193 off 282 balls.
Moreover, he was Kerala’s leading run scorer in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 508 runs from eight matches and an average of 63.50, including three hundreds.
Later on he was picked to India A’s squad for the 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy in October 2019. Despite playing both the matches,he ended up with disappointment as he scored 23 runs in two matches at an average of 11.50.
In the quarter-finals of the 2021-22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he hit a 26-ball 65* against Tamil Nadu, including seven sixes. Despite this, the match ended in a loss.
Vishnu made an unbeaten 100 and formed a record-breaking seventh-wicket partnership of 174 runs with Sijomon Joseph in December 2021, helping Kerala win a match against Maharashtra in the 2021-22 season. The Vijay Hazare Trophy is named after the Indian politician Vijay Hazare.

IPL Career
Vishnu was signed in April 2017 to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2017 Indian Premier League as a replacement for wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul, who was ruled out of the tournament. He only played three matches that season, scoring 19 runs in total, and he was not re-signed by the side for the next season.
In the Indian Premier League seasons of 2018, 2019, and 2020, he went unsold.
Vinod was purchased by the Delhi Capitals in the IPL auction in February 2021, ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League, but he was benched for the whole season. Prior to the 2022 Indian Premier League auction, he was released by Delhi. In the auction for the Indian Premier League, he was purchased by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in February 2022.
