This is going to be his second action thriller directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan after Suthan in 2021.

According to the makers of the film, Viruman is a village-based action thriller drama that is set to be released on August 12th, 2022. Happy Pongal was inscribed on the movie’s first look poster, which was unveiled by stars Karthi and Suriya on January 14, 2022.

Everything You Need To Know About The Viruman Star Cast, Makers, And Its First Look
Aditi Shankar, the younger daughter of Kollywood director S. Shankar, will be seen playing the female lead role alongside the male lead Karthi. In addition to the main actors, the movie also stars Myna Nandini, Soori, Rajkiran, and the dynamic actor Prakash Raj in significant parts. The budget of the movie is not known.

The movie will be directed by Muthaiah, who also penned the screenplay and will be financed by Suriya and his wife, the actress Jyothika. The movie will be through their own production company, 2D Entertainment.
The film’s streaming rights were also purchased by the producing company. Selvakumar S.K. will be in charge of the filmmaker’s cinematography, and Yuvan Shankar Raja would be in charge of the soundtrack.
The movie’s poster shows Karthi seated on rocks with a violent expression on his face and carrying a spear in his hands. The movie was filmed over the course of three months, starting on September 17, 2021, and ending on December 22, 2021.

The Lead Actor Of The Film Viruman- Karthi
After a year-long hiatus, Karthi, the eldest child of legendary actor Sivakumar and the younger brother of Kollywood megastar and Jai Bhim famous actor Suriya, will return to the big screen. The 2019 action movie Kaithi, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film earned over Rs 105 crore at the box office globally, is best known as the work of Karthi.
He received the Best Actor (Male) Award at the Norway Tamil Film Festival for his outstanding performance in the movie. The actor will now return with his eagerly anticipated action drama, which will be created by his brother and fellow actor Suriya’s production company.
