For those who aren’t sure, let us remind you, Kohli had scored a total of 122 runs against Afghanistan during the Asia Cup 2022. Now, Gill has broken Kohli’s record after scoring 126 runs.
Gill has started off his innings with some confident shots on the off-side against players like Michael Bracewell, Lockie Ferguson and Ben Lister.

Let us remind you as of now Gill has only played 40 international games but he has already recorded centuries in all three formats. Apart from him, only 3 other Indian cricketers had made hundreds in all three international formats.
