The last few seconds of the fight show Paul twisting his glove 90 degrees, a gesture many have gone onto believe was a signal by the YouTuber to tell Woodley to end the fight. People have also gone onto question why Woodley never tried to knock out Paul or even batter him during round three when he had cut Paul open who was bleeding profusely.
People also put to sword the manner in which Woodley dropped to the ground after Paul’s punch with many questioning how his body posture wasn’t akin to one being knocked out cold.
Despite the 39 year old having a staggering $500,000 clause in his contract if he managed to knock Paul out, Woodley had shown no interest in doing so despite being on top at one point.
“He literally dropped his guard when Jake Paul was coming in. Come on man, no wonder why people don’t give as much of a shit about boxing, it’s rigged to hell,” one fan wrote.
