Antonio Rudiger decided he wanted to get a bite of Reece James’ head during Chelsea’ goal celebrations
For some reason, Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger has decided to draw inspiration from Luis Suarez. The CB who was first captured trying to bite Paul Pogba has now been captured getting a taste of counterparts Reece James’ head with video footage emerging of him biting the Chelsea fullback during their visit of King Power Stadium.
Rudiger who has been an integral figure at the back for Chelsea under the tutelage of Thomas Tuchel ended up giving Chelsea the lead when they took on Leicester City at the weekend. That advantage was soon doubled as N’Golo Kante scored a wonder strike, a goal which sparked jubilant celebrations amongst the Chelsea players.

Rudiger was clearly unable to keep his emotions in check with him seen biting Reece James’ head as the Chelsea players got in a huddle to celebrate the strike. The incident has left ardent Chelsea fans scratching their hands with many perplexed on why Rudiger decided to go bonkers.
Maybe this was Rudiger’s way of sending a message to the bigwigs at the club as talks over his contract extension hit a rut. The defender is said to have dismissed Chelsea’s offers of an increase in annual wages and with the club based out of London unwilling to increase its offer, Rudiger could be on his way out of the London once the season curtails.
Chelsea meanwhile extended their stronghold atop of the points table after Christian Pulisic scored in the third half to wrap up a 3-0 win against the Foxes on Saturday.
