King & Queen of the Ring Tournament Date & Venue
For the curious, the live event of the King and Queen of the Ring is all set to take place on May 25th, 2024.
This match will take place in the next episode of SmackDown, held at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The venue will also host the WWE King and Queen of the Ring finals the following day.
Let us remind you, during the match, a notable moment involved Belair executing a back suplex on Stratton, inadvertently causing a wardrobe mishap.
Tiffany Stratton’s Wardrobe Mishap Explained
As Belair lifted Stratton, she inadvertently pulled up Stratton’s garment, nearly resulting in a front wedgie. Stratton quickly covered herself to avoid exposure, but the moment was captured and circulated on social media.
This incident follows a similar wardrobe malfunction with Naomi the previous week, highlighting a recurring issue on the Blue Brand that WWE may need to address with changes to the superstars’ outfits or regulations.
Following her loss, WWE posted a video on Instagram featuring Stratton reacting to her elimination. She expressed her frustration, saying, “I can’t believe I’m not going to be Queen anymore; I’m so. Aghhh!”.
Despite her exit from the tournament, WWE has significant plans for her, as she has become a prominent figure in the SmackDown women’s division since joining the main roster.
Meanwhile, Belair is focused on winning the Queen of the Ring but must first overcome Nia Jax. After Belair secured her spot in the semifinals, Nia Jax also advanced in a brief and intense bout.
The match quickly moved ringside, where Jax attempted to use a metal chair against her opponent. However, Jade Cargill intervened, seizing the chair and hitting Jax with it.
The referee saw this and declared the match over, awarding Jax the victory by disqualification. As a loyal babyface, Belair will be looking to avenge her tag partner’s elimination from the tournament.
