Five persons died in a car collision in Long Beach early on Monday, June 26. Ariahh Slemaker and George Dobbs, two victims who were both 15 years old, were named with their car crash video viral

Slemaker and Dobbs collided in a Hyundai Sonata on the 710 Motorway as one vehicle.

The crash’s circumstances are presently the subject of a police inquiry. The identities of the three more fatal victims have not yet been disclosed since the tragedy is still under investigation. According to ABC, a sixth passenger in the Hyundai Sonata managed to escape the collision but required hospitalisation due to severe injuries.

The Hyundai Sonata carrying Ariahh Slemaker and George Dobbs was engaged in a one-car collision on the northbound lanes when the mishap was first reported at around 4 am to close to the 91 motorway.

Authorities suspect that the Hyundai Sonata abruptly swerved to the right and smashed into the attenuators or safety barrels that were placed next to the motorway exit, however, they have not yet established what exactly transpired in the seconds prior to the collision.

Following the incident, the CHP issued a SigAlert that closed all of the freeway’s northbound lanes. According to IBpost, the first lane opened at 6 am, and the remainder followed at 8:30. Investigators found that there were six persons in the car even though it was only intended for five. Additionally, they think that many of the passengers were not using their seatbelts. The speed at which they were travelling when the accident occurred is unclear.

Regarding the incident, CHP officer Angela Gonzales said: “Our officers along, with the fire department, responded to the scene and determined this crash to be a solo crash resulting in five deceased parties.” Gonzales added: “We ask that all witnesses to this crash come forward.”

Ariahh Slemaker and George Dobbs, two teenagers from Long Beach, were identified as two of the murdered victims on Monday afternoon by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. It is uncertain if any of the victims who have been named were behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
