Since the start of the year, the hip-hop industry has lost a number of rappers, another talented artist and former Kodak Black crew member, 26 Ceejay, recently passed away with his shooting video now viral
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, he was shot in his home town. The unknown assailant(s) who shot 26 Ceejay also used gasoline to burn down the car he was driving.
The burned-out body of 26 Ceejay was discovered in the backseat. However, it is unclear whether the fire or the bullet killed him.
According to Raw Nigeria, the incident occurred around 6:10 a.m. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and an explosion 30 minutes later. On social media, videos of 26 Ceejay’s burning car have also gone viral.

Since the beginning of this year, the hip-hop industry has lost several well-known artists. Rappers like David Jolicoeur, Gangsta Boo, and AKA are on the list. The first was Gangsta Boo, who died at the age of 43 on January 1, 2023.
She died of a drug overdose and cardiac arrest, according to reports. Her brother claims she overdosed during a performance the night before and had to be hospitalized. However, the circumstances surrounding her death suggested that she died as a result of the presence of narcotics and fentanyl-laced products.
Gangsta Boo belonged to the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia. She also went on to have a solo career, releasing three albums: Enquiring Minds, Both Worlds *69, and Enquiring Minds II: The Soap Opera.
David Jolicoeur, a well-known rapper, suffered from congestive heart failure for a year. He died on February 12, 2023, though the cause of his death was not disclosed. David revealed before his death that his performance had been hampered by his heart failure.
He was a member of the hip-hop group De La Soul, which released eight albums, the most recent of which, And the Anonymous Nobody…, was released in 2016. They were well-known for singles such as Say No Go, Eye Know, Respect, Forever, Get Away, and others.
AKA is the third most famous rapper to have died this year. On February 10, 2023, two assailants shot him dead outside a restaurant. He was 35. In his successful music career, he released four albums, the most recent of which, Mass Country, was released on February 24, 2023.
