For the unfamiliar, recently, social media platforms are buzzing with a distressing video of a Louisiana teenager, who is seen cruelly beating his Labrador after the dog fails to listen to his command.

The viral video that is making rounds online reportedly is from 2023 and features a teenager, whoโs identified as Cole Prevost, brutally beating his dog and drawing the attention of thousands of online users.
The online users have demanded an immediate action from authorities as they are seeking to take the legal remedies.
What Did the Viral Video Show?
The viral video features Prevost visibly frustrated while training his Labrador reportedly to be a hunting dog.
When the dog fails to respond to Cole Prevostโs command, he starts beating the dog violently in a pond. Meanwhile, his two friends who were filming the incident were caught laughing.

Various online users around the world, many of whom have experience tranning hunting dogs, strongly reacted to Cole Prevostโs video. Even avid hunters were disgusted by his violent behavior towards his dog.
Social Media Users Reaction
Social media, particularly TikTok users, played a significant role in drawing authoritiesโ attention. People from across the country reported Cole Prevost and his friends, leaving dozens of comments on the sheriffโs Facebook page.
Followed by the increasing demand for an immediate action, the three teenagers were apprehended by the authorities.
What Did the Police Say?
Earlier, in a statement, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffโs Office (TPSO), revealed that they has arrested three Ponchatoula teenagers in connection with a viral video of animal cruelty.
The authorities furthermore revealed that identity of the suspects as they said they have caught a 15-year-old boy for animal cruelty, while the other two 15-year-old boys were each arrested for their involvement.
Ad per the police officials, they were made aware of the viral video on July 27 after they were constantly being tagged across social media platforms in a viral video. Followed by this, the authorities conducted their investigation and arrested the three teenagers.
Additionally, they also reveal that they found the dog in the video, examined him, and determined that he is in good health.
