On Wednesday, TikTok bully Anushka Braaf appeared in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates Court after more charges were added to her name as the video of her hitting Mishka went viral

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) member Eric Ntabazalila confirmed that an additional charge of assault had been added to the name of Anushka Braaf.

Anushka Braaf was arrested on 28 August 2023 after a TikTok video of her assaulting Mishqah Arend went viral. The spread of this video resulted in charges of assault and crime. In the video, Anushka Braaf accuses Arend of speaking about her and asking whether she wants to be beaten up.

On 8 September 2023, the matter was adjourned to 13 October 2023 for the state to provide the defense attorney with further details. Braaf was excused from attending the court until the court needed a testimony.
