However, LeBron taking centrestage during the matchup wasn’t just down to his electric performance on the day. LeBron decided he wanted to emulate Michael Jordan with him seen caught on video telling someone he would attempt a free throw with his eyes closed, one which he eventually went onto miss.

LeBron has since been roasted like hell on social media platforms for his botched effort with his effort nowhere close to the basket. Many were quick to mock the Lakers man for trying too hard to be like MJ.

Apart from the stinker of the effort, LeBron had an otherwise pinch perfect game on the day as the Lakers won 110-106. He had 33 points and nine assists on the night while Russell Westbrook had 25 points and nine assists, and Anthony Davis had 24 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lakers who are currently sitting in seventh in the Eastern Conference will now be without the services of LeBron for atleast 10 days after he tested positive for COVID-19. The Lakers bigwig has entered safety and health protocols as he recovers from the disease before once again linking up with his peers.

Maybe he can make the most of his period in quarantine by working on his closed eyes free throws attempts. Wonder if he’ll get on call with China to ask them why they spread COVID after all.
