Kieron Pollard Protests Against The Umpire In CPL 2021

The incident took place during a showdown between Trinbago Knight Riders and St Lucia Kings at Warner Park in St Kitts. The 19th over of Trinbago’s innings saw Wahab Riaz send down a widish delivering to Tim Seifert, one which the batsman couldn’t get a bat too despite giving it his all.

A clear wide, the umpire for some inexpplecibale reason decided to turn a blind eye. It was a bemusing decision, one which left Kieron Pollard miffed as he decided to mark his angst against the decision by moving all the way to the edge of the 30 yard mark.

It was a hilarious development, one which left ardent viewers of the league in splits as Pollard continued to stay well wide of the typical non-striker’s mark. Meanwhile, Pollard and Tim’s stellar 78 run partnership powered Trinbago to a solid 158 on the night with their opponents managing a measly 131 in reply to see the Trinbago get past the finishing line with ease.
