The registrations for the 19th edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 have finally begun, and interested participants can check out the registration and route details
The upcoming event will feature participants from Delhi and around the world, bringing in people from different walks of life and age groups.

The official launch of the competition took place Delhi on Thursday, July 18, 2024. While speaking at the launch, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Non-Executive Director, of Vedanta Ltd and Chairperson, Hindustan Zinc, stated the following:

For every kilometre run, we will contribute one meal and this year our aim is 5 million meals. Let’s come together and run to create a brighter hunger-free future for India.”
Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 race day and registration dates
The upcoming race is set to take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024. The registrations for the upcoming race event started on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 7 AM IST. It is set to end on Friday, September 20, 2024, 11:59 PM IST or once the running slots get filled, whichever comes first.

The event has an overall purse of $268,000 (approx. ₹2.14 crore) and the international elite winner will get $27,000 (approx ₹22.25 lakh) while Indian winners (men and women) collect ₹3,50,000. The second and third-placed elite foreign runners will get $20,000 (approx. ₹16.48 lakh) and $13,000 (approx. ₹10.71 lakh) while their Indian counterparts get ₹2,75,000 and ₹1,75,000.

Minimum age eligibility
Participants who wish to apply for the Half Marathon race category needs to be at least 18 years and above. This means that participants need to be born on or before 19.10.2006.

Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 start timings
The Half Marathon and the Police Cup will begin early morning at 5:00 am IST, followed by the Elite Men and Women Race, The Champions with Disability, Senior Citizen Run, and Great Delhi Run. The Open 10K will then begin at 7:50 a.m. IST.
