Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur is the venue and on the 19th of November, 2022 Air Fest 2022 will take place.

The practice session for this was held on 17 and 18 November 2022. The show will take place from 10:00am-12:15pm.
After the Air Show, a static display of aeromodels, Mi-17V5 aircraft and weapons will be opened up to the audience and publicity stalls will also be available to attend to queries from students and youth regarding career opportunities in the IAF.
Since this air show is being hosted by the maintenance command, the show would be held at its Vayusena Nagar campus and is open only for people given invitation passes with no tickets on sale.
Air Fest 2022 Objective, Chief Guests, Shows
The Air event has been conducted as a part of the ‘ Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which is an initiative of the government of the nation to celebrate and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the independence and the glorious history of the people, Culture, and achievements.
The main objective of this air fest 2022 to be held is to showcase different aspects and facets of the Indian air force. The main motive is to motivate the youth of Nagpur to select the Indian Air Force career for their future. Air Marshal Vibhas Pande AvSM VSM, AOC in C Maintaining command will be considered as the chief quest for the Air Fest 2022.
The Air force event will commence with the 14th NCC air wings which will demonstrate their skills and abilities in aero modeling. Both remote-controlled and control lines models will be flown in full view of the spectators. The remote-controlled aircraft shown will be carrying out an aerobatic screening consisting of loops, rolls, flips, and figures of eight. Moreover the control line and model displays include inverted flying, loops, and vertical figures of 8.
Furthermore, a pilot from the Air headquarters adventure cell will enthrall the spectators in his paramotor with the aerobatic maneuver having a spiral descent above 1000 feet and a wingover, an airplane that makes a steep climb, a vertical flat turn in which the aircraft will be turning to its side as same as a car turn on the road.
Also, pilots including the Daredevils of Afghanistan, a team of a total of 10 air warriors Skydiving, showing the national flags, sound and tuning by different aircraft can be seen. It will also display the different air models and weapons. The public stalls will also be helpful in taking queries for the students wanting to pursue their career in IAF.
