Sources have found that the Thane bridge collapse video is old. This video is actually of a bridge collapse in Varanasi.

Putting key frames from the video through a Reverse Image Search, media reports have suggested that the bridge collapse video is from 2018. As per the report, this incident took place in Varanasi in the state of Uttar Pradesh on May 15th, 2018, where an under-construction flyover collapsed on the vehicles which were going below the flyover.

Varanasi bridge collapse video
A portion of a flyover that was built by a state-run Corporation collapsed on a busy road in the city of Varanasi in 2018 and it killed at least 18 people as it crushed a mini bus, cars, and two-wheelers. A team of NDRF officials stated, ‘ at least three people were rescued. Rescue workers used the metal cutters to free people caught in their vehicles under the flyover.’
‘The Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Ltd built the 2,261-metre bridge at a cost of INR 129 crore. The bridge which fell in 2018 was laid barely three months ago, ‘they further added.
The Chief Project Manager H C Tiwari and three others got suspended after the incident took place. Authorities mentioned that no work was going on when the concrete slab crashed. Prime Minister Modi, who represented Varanasi at Lok Sabha, expressed grief over deaths while the opposition targeted the government of UP over the tragedy in the top-priority constituency of the country.
Uttar Pradesh state Relief Commissioner, Sanjay Kumar stated, ‘around 18 bodies were pulled out in the incident. Five National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams, with nearly 250 personnel, rushed to the accident spot immediately.’
Uttar Pradesh state Chief Minister Mr. Adityanath declared a three-member committee for probing into an accident and give a report within 48 hours. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya immediately headed towards Varanasi from Lucknow after the bridge collapsed in Varanasi.
