The Vantara Jamnagar officially launched on February 26, 2024. However, it is still not yet open to the public, and Anant Ambani has stated that he is looking to make the facility open to visitors shortly. The project will serve as a state-of-the-art conservation program that houses animals and also informs the public on wildlife conservation.
Vantara Jamnagar project vision
Vantara has set their main project vision to join hands with the Zoo Authority of India in developing animal care infrastructure across Indian zoos. It follows the philosophy of “jeev seva” (animal care), and its founder, Anant Ambani, visualizes Vantara as a mission to save critically endangered species while restoring crucial habitats.
