In the horrific helicopter crash, Vanessa’s co-plaintiff, Christopher has lost his wife, Sarah and their 13-year-old daughter, Payton.

According to the Celebrity Net Worth portal, the American philanthropist Vanessa’s net worth is estimated to be around $600 million in 2022.
According to a 202 report by the International Business Times, Vanessa and Kobe didn’t have a prenuptial agreement. However, MarketWatch further revealed in a report that the philanthropist is the executor of the Bryant estate.
Back in 2011, a decade after their marriage, Vanessa had filed for divorce from Kobe. As per a report by the Celebrity Net Worth portal, at the time the basketball icon’s net worth was estimated to be around $200 million.

Jury’s decision in Los Angeles County Case
According to a report by Fox news, Vanessa and Chris sued the Los Angeles County with her attorneys claiming that “close-up photos” of the horrific helicopter crash site were shared on multiple devices.
The case trial began on Wednesday, Aug 10. After 14 days in court, the jury unanimously sided with the plaintiff and ordered the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) to pay $10 million to Vanessa in damages and $9 million to co-plaintiff Christopher.
Furthermore, the jury also gave orders to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) to pay $6 million to each of the plaintiffs i.e, to Christopher and Vanessa.
According to a report by People, 40-year-old Vanessa was seen sobbing in court following the announcement of the jury’s verdict.
She reportedly hugged her attorney, Luis Li and her co-plaintiff Chris once the verdict was announced.
The mother of 4 later took to Instagram to honour her late husband and daughter after the announcement of the verdict.

Vanessa and Kobe had tied the knot in 2001. At the time, Kobe’s parents, his agent and his sisters reportedly refused to attend their wedding.
As per the rumours, they refused to attend the wedding because of Vanessa’s age, at the time of her wedding she was only 19 and was still in high school.
