From ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ on December 23, darshan will be permitted for a duration of 10 days at the revered temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala with the 2023 tickets price and booking details out
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the release of 6.70 lakh tickets for the ‘Vaikunta Dwara’ darshan for Ekadasi.

From the auspicious day of Vaikunta Ekadasi on December 23, darshan will be permitted for 10 days at the temple of Lord Venkateswara. To facilitate this, approximately 2.25 lakh Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets priced at ₹300 each will be accessible online starting from November 10 starting 9:00am.
TTD is releasing the online tickets quota of SRIVANI Trust on December 28 at 3pm.

Additionally, 20,000 SriVani tickets will also be available during the festival period with the privilege of darshan being extended to SriVani ticket holders at the same level as SED ticket holders
Over 100 counters spread across nine different locations in Tirupati will offer approximately 4.25 lakh tokens for Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD), catering to the convenience of common pilgrims.
Rs. 300 Darshan devotees will have Darshan from Jaya Vijaya statue (from 7th door) andTTD will issue 4,25,0000 SSD tokens during these days in 100 counters at nine different places in Tirupati for the benefit of common pilgrims.
Those without tickets or tokens can come to Tirumala and visit other places but will not allowed for darshan during these days.
The TTD has decided to forego ‘arjitha sevas’ and other forms of special darshan privileges, including those for parents with infants, seniors, and special citizens. Nonetheless, they have clarified that pilgrims will still be welcome to visit the temple during this period. However, only those holding valid tickets will be granted access to darshan.
Significance of ‘Vaikunta Dwara’ darshan
Vaikunta Dwara, also known as the gate to the celestial abode is believed to open on Vaikunta Ekadasi. It is an event of immense spiritual significance in Hindu mythology, signifying the opportunity for devotees to attain salvation and liberation from the cycle of birth and death. The darshan is an embodiment of divine grace by offering devotees a chance to connect with the divine on a profound level.

The TTD has cancelled all privileged darshan like parents with infants, challenged persons, senior citizens and NRIs from December 23 to January 1, 2024.
