The release date for Sooraj Barjatya’s latest film Uunchai has been confirmed along with all other movie details, know its story
The veteran Bollywood filmmaker is making a comeback to the film industry after seven years with his new film Uunchai.

The film, directed by Barjatya will be jointly produced under the banners of Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media, and Mahaveer Jain Films.
The filmmakers released the movie’s first trailer on Tuesday and after initially sharing the official posters, images and videos of the film.
Release Date
The theatrical release for the film is scheduled on November 11, 2022.

Film Plot
As of now, filmmakers haven’t revealed the actual plot of the upcoming film. What we know is that the film will bear the essence of a family drama just like other Rajshri films.
The primary plot of the film revolves around the friendship of four friends who are in their old age.
Uunchai Official Trailer
The official trailer for the film introduced four friends who are portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Denzongpa and Boman Irani respectively.
The trailer also shows Bhupen, a disciple of Denzongpa, who has only one lifelong ambition: to scale Everest. However, Bhupen passes away before he can realize his desire.
Following his death, the four companions decide to carry out his final desire and spread his ashes atop the Everest. The group travels to the Everest base camp despite their advanced age and health problems overcoming all odds.
The trailer also shows a glimpse of the three female characters, Parineeti, Neena, and Sarika. The three actresses however, don’t have much of a role in this story of four friends.
The movie’s tagline reads, “Friendship was their motivation.”
Filming Location
The filming for Uunchai took place in Nepal with the initial shoot starting in October 2021. The shooting for the film wrapped up around April 2022.
