The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association has announced the schedule and dates of the highly-anticipated UP T20 2023 League tournament along with all other details about the teams and owners
UPT20 2023 marks the inaugural season of the competition and it will serve as a platform for both local talents as well as international stars.

The 'UPT20' T20 league by UPCA kicks off on Aug 30 till Sep 16. All matches will be Held at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium, it involves six city-based franchise teams in the inaugural edition
Teams are : Varanasi, Meerut, Noida, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Kanpur.

The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) will organize the upcoming competition while, Perfect-Pitch Events & Sports Private Limited will manage the whole tournament.
UPT20 2023 schedule and dates
UPT20 will begin from 30th August 2023 and continue on until 16th September, 2023 for the final game. The tournament will span across 18 days, and conclude with a grand finale.

The Green Park Stadium in Kanpur will serve as the venue for all the games of the UPT20 2023.

UPT20 2023 auction
Ahead of the competition, the organizers held an auction for the UPT20 on 16th August 2023 at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Lucknow. An expert panel comprising of the following members headed the auction:

- Shri Arvind Srivastava, (Hony. Secretary UPCA & Member Governing Council)
- Shri Prem Manohar Gupta (Hony. Treasurer & Member Governing Council)

- Justice Shri Rakesh Sharma (Allahabad High Court)
The UPT20 2023 auction process started off with each of the applicants presenting their own experience, ideas, and vision towards supporting the development of cricketing activities in the state. Following this process, the qualified bidders then submitted their financial bids for their desired city. Given below is the list of teams and owners and their bid price:
