USWNT vs Sweden results prediction
Going into the match, there are several factors that could affect the results of the game. During the final group stage match, Sweden’s head coach, Peter Gerhardsson made the wise move of resting nine starters. This will make the Swedish team physically and psychologically prepared for match against the USWNT.
Meanwhile, the American team has shown some signs of shakiness and will play without one of their top players Rose Lavelle, who got a second yellow card during the last match against Portugal. On the other hand, Sweden are coming off a dominant 5-0 victory in the last match. Moreover, they have a fierce attacking unit, consisting of Arsenal’s Stina Blackstenius, A.C. Milan’s Kosovare Asllani, and Barcelona’s Fridolina Rolfo.
Based on all these factors, Sweden seems to have the upper hand and could deliver a thumping victory over the USWNT with a series of goals. However, fans can expect to see an exciting clash as the Americans will certainly not back down easily.
