The USMNT reached the semifinals rather easily after topping their group with 10 points in four matchdays. They were placed in the same group as Grenada and El Salvador.
Meanwhile Mexico are in a surge under their new head coach Diego Cocca securing eight points in the group stage. They were placed in the same group as Suriname and Jamaica.
