Jaqueline Cristian will be making her debut finale appearance at a WTA tour, as she gears up to face 8th seeded Alison Riske.
Friske defeated fellow American D Collins in the semifinals with a score of 7-5, and a walkover in second set.
A similar incident happened in the second semi-finals when Simona Halep retired before entering the pitch, owing to a knee injury she sustained during the quarterfinals.
