UNC’s Max McCaffrey Throws Clipboard At Montana State Fan After Being Told His Pants Are Too Small

Max McCaffrey, the brother of Christian McCaffrey has been reprimanded after he threw his clipboard at a fan who mocked his pants 

Max McCaffrey, the eldest son of head coach Ed McCaffrey has been sanctioned by the athletics department of UNC after he ended up throwing his clipboard into the stands, an action which ended up injuring an opposition fan.

Max who is a Northern Colorado assistant manager is said to have lost his marbles and flown into a rage after the fan in question berated the size of his pants. The supporter who called out Max for wearing too small and tight fans ended up getting a clipboard thrown at him by Max.

“I said, ‘Hey coach, maybe you should focus on how small your pants are, rather than breaking a clipboard,” Montana State student Max Demarias said.

“I was very surprised he tried throwing it at me. I was one of the only people standing in my section when I said it. I’m guessing he tried throwing it at me. Everyone around me freaked out, and I was just dumbfounded,” he continued.

McCaffrey then went onto throw the broken clipboard into the stands, where it hit a man who is said to be in his 60s. The senior citizen received treatment in the stadium but was not severely hurt.

“Max is embarrassed by the incident and is working privately to apologize to the fan hit by the errant toss,“ UNC AD Darren Dunn said.

Max is the brother of NFL star running back Christian McCaffrey who plays for the Carolina Panthers. Things went from bad to worse for Max on the day after his team ended up getting routed 40-7.
