Finally the release date for episode 8 of Uncle From Another World anime has now been confirmed following the news of a significant production delay

The 2022 Summer anime slate has felt a bit upset compared to the previous seasons as we have witnessed this year.

That being said, there still have been many series to catch the attention of global auidence including the one we are currently discussing i.e, Isekai Ojisan, aka Uncle From Another World.

The series was able to catch the attention yet the fans got some frustrating news on social media as the anime series barrelled towards its 8th instalment.

Unfortunately, the episode 8 of Uncle From Another World has been significantly delayed both in Japan and overseas via Netflix which led fans wondering what’s the reason behind all this. So without any delay, let’s discuss.

Why Was Episode 8 Delayed?

Sadly the Episode 8 of Uncle From Another World has been delayed because of another spike in positive Covid-19 cases within the production studio.

Previously the series had already taken a 2-week break with episode 5 for the same reason. And one again the Studio Atelier Pontdarc having to temporarily suspend the production due to a rapid rise in cases.

Unfortunately, it seems that the studio is still dealing with the problems associated with the Covid-19 pandemic and have just confirmed an indefinite suspension of production on the anime series.

The studio took to their official Japanese website and shared a blog post.

In the post they have revealed that, “Due to the rapid increase in the number of people infected with the new type of coronavirus at Atelier Pontdarc, the production company in charge of this work, and other related organizations, we have decided to resume the broadcasting of this work after a two-week suspension.”

The blog post continued, “After a two-week suspension, we have resumed broadcasting of the program. However, due to the inability to stop the spread of the virus, we have decided to temporarily suspend the broadcast of episodes 8 and onward.”

Release Date Confirmed for Episode 8

Unfortunately the initial announcement regarding the delay did not include any new release date for the Episode 8. In their initial post, the studio only said that the domestic had been postponed indefinitely.

The studio took to the official website isekaiojisan and posted a blog saying, “The broadcast schedule for episodes 8 and onward will be announced on the official anime website.”

The post continued, “The schedule for episodes 8 and beyond will be announced on the official anime website and official Twitter soon.”

Although as of now we didn’t had any official release date for the episode 8 of the anime.

However there’s a good news as the official Japanese website have finally confirmed that the Episode 8 of the anime will be air on Friday, November 25th.

But as of yet the announcement doesn’t includes any official date for the episode’s releasing on Netflix. We don’t know whether the streaming giant will begin airing remaining episodes from that date on or will stick with their 2-erek delay.

According to report, the anime series will re-broadcast old episodes until the production gets back on an appropriate schedule i.3, after November 25th.

September 14th – Rebroadcast of Episode 4
September 21st – Rebroadcast of Episode 5
September 28th – Rebroadcast of Episode 6
October 05th – Rebroadcast of Episode 7

According to a report by the news post, “The Isekai Ojisan Production Committee will continue to work towards the resumption of broadcasting and distribution while giving first priority to the health and safety of all staff involved in the production of this work.”

The studio took to isekaiojisan website and penned down, “We apologize for the inconvenience to the viewers who have been looking forward to this production, but we ask that you please wait for a while.

“The Isekai Ojisan Production Committee is committed to the health and safety of all staff involved in the production of this work.”
