Season 2 of the Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) is about to begin as six franchises hand-picked the top 145 players in the country, including 33 young guns between the ages of 16 and 18. The Players Draft took place in Bhubaneshwar.

The teams have decided to keep 18 players, while the remaining players are classified as A, B, C, and D. The price for category A players is INR 5 lakh, while category B players will receive INR 3 lakh. while the amounts for C and D have been maintained at INR 1.5 lakh and 1 lakh, respectively, a report in Sportstar suggests.
After teams paid Rs 3.9 crore to select 145 players, including 18 retained, 290 players from 18 states enrolled for the Season 2 Players Draft.
Franchise owners will be able to choose players according to their individual draft order and purse size. Here is all you need to know about the tournament.
The 2023 season of Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) is the upcoming second edition of the tournament, which will be held from 24th December to 14th January, 2024 in Cuttack, Odisha and there will be six teams.
