In the Ultimate Kho Kho League, Monday was a fantastic day since remaining two spots for playoff were decided. During the opening game, Mumbai Khiladis were defeated by Chennai Quick Guns 58-42 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune. Elsewhere, Telugu Yoddhas advanced directly to the next round as they dominated Gujarat Giants by a score of 88-21.

Chennai Quick Guns vs Mumbai Khiladis Match Events
At the end of the first Turn, the Quick Guns had a 24-point advantage over the Khiladis thanks to seven Sky Dives and a Pole Dive. At the end of the first inning, the Khiladis were behind 32-20 and appeared to be running out of ideas in the second turn.
Near the end of Turn 3 the Quick Guns had a 30-point advantage in the game, which prompted Khiladis to attack. In the last Turn with a massive target to hit, Mumbai’s attack collapsed as they lost by a score of 58-42. With their 16-point win, Chennai Quick Guns advanced as the third team to the playoffs.
Telugu Yoddhas vs Gujarat Giants Match Events
The Yoddhas controlled the opening seven minutes of the game, completing a Full On Chase to gain a massive 37-0 lead over Giants. Giants also shown offensive indiscipline in the second Turn, scoring just eight points. Hence, Yoddhas led by a whopping 45 points at the end of the inning.
Telugu Yoddhas maintained their lead with a 22-point attack in the third Turn, giving them a 66-point advantage. Even in fourth turn, Giants struggled in attack and as a result, Telugu Yoddhas delivered Gujarat Giants a devastating 88-21 loss and qualified for the play-offs.
