On Friday, the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex hosted a lightning-fast performance of the Ultimate Kho Kho League. Gujarat Giants defeated Chennai Quick Guns in the opening game by a score of 50-44, becoming the first team to secure a spot in the postseason. In the second game of the day, the Mumbai Khiladis successfully avenged their loss to the Telugu Yoddhas by defeating them by a score of 54-46.

Chennai Quick Guns vs Gujarat Giants Match Events
The Quick Guns could only manage an 11-point lead at the end of the first part because the Giants’ defence was so strong; they scored eight points in the opening turn. The Giants had the advantage as they launched their attack, but with a score of 26-23 in Gujarat’s favour at the end of the first inning, the game appeared to be evenly matched.
Only 10 points separated Chennai Quick Guns and the opposition at the end of Turn 3. After the end of final turn, Gujarat Giants emerged victorious against Chennai with a score of 50-44. With this victory, the Giants not only climbed to the top of the standings but also became the first club to secure a spot in the UKK playoffs.
Mumbai Khiladis vs Telugu Yoddhas Match Events
At the conclusion of the first Turn, the Khiladis led by 18 points thanks to four Sky Dives and four Running Touches. When the match reached the midway point, with a score of 26 apiece, the Yoddhas and Khiladis were engaged in a see-saw fight.
The Yoddhas were unable to add to their score before entering the final Turn, while the Mumbai Khiladis got 24 points to bring their total to 50 points. In the final turn, Yoddhas failed to bridge the gap and allowed Mumbai Khiladis claim the win with a score of 54-46. With this win, Khiladis continue to compete for a top-four finish while Yoddhas missed their golden opportunity to seal playoff spot.
