In the co-main event, featherweight veterans Dan Ige and Andre Fili fight; Ige is trying to maintain his ranking in the top 20, while Fili recently won a rare highlight-reel knockout.
Alongside these bouts on the main card, there will be a middleweight match between grappling specialist Rodolfo Vieira and kickboxer Armen Petrosyan, octagon lifers Brad Tavares and Michael Johnson against Gregory Rodrigues and Darrius Flowers, and Polish middleweight slugger Robert Bryczek making his UFC debut against Ihor Potieria.

According to MMASalaries.com, Hermansson agreed to a lucrative new contract in 2022 that increased his base pay from $75,000 to $90,000. At UFC Vegas 86, the 35-year-old is predicted to win more over $100,000 in total compensation, including sponsorships.
This weekend at UFC Vegas 86, the UFC will award $229,000 in incentive compensation to its fighters. Sportswear sponsor Venum, which pays out incentive pay to fighters via tiers depending on longevity with the brand, is the source of the UFC’s incentive pay.
- 1-3 fights pay out $4,000
- 4-5 fights pay out $4,500
- 6-10 bouts pay out $6,000
- 11-15 pay out $11,000
- 16-20 pay out $16,000
- 21 fights or more pays out $21,000
Pyfer is still thought to be making $12,000 every event and $12,000 per win as per the terms of his 2022 UFC contract. Pyfer has won all three of his octagon bouts, most recently by submitting Abdul Razak Alhassan in the second round, therefore he is highly hyped going into this match.
Assuming Fili defeats Ige, he should make $55,000 plus a further $55,000 in win bonuses, for a possible total of $110,000 for the evening.
Ige, who just won $90,000 against Bryce Mitchell, also seems to be on a similar contract as Hermansson. After losing to ground attacks from Roman Dolidze, the main event fighter from last week, Hermansson is trying to bounce back in the win column. Hermansson is expected to receive $266,000, making him the biggest earner.
- Jack Hermansson – $266,000
- Joe Pyfer – $254,500
- Michael Johnson – $141,000
- Dan Ige – $121,000
- Brad Tavares – $121,000
