Holm is currently in possibly the strongest position she has been in in years after winning Yana Santos by unanimous decision. The 135-pound category is in need of a new champion after longtime champion Amanda Nunes announced her retirement earlier this year. Given her reputation and standing, Holm has a solid chance of competing for the vacant championship, assuming she prevails on Saturday. According to reports, Holly Holm will leave UFC Vegas 77 with net payout of $210,000, which may significantly increase if she receives any performance bonus or win bonus.
Meanwhile, Mayra Bueno Silva will receive $106,000 including her $100,000 base wage. Elsewhere, Albert Duraev will earn $28,500 and Jun Yong Park will bag payout of $36,000. It is assumed that UFC Vegas 77 will reward $81,000 for Nora Dumont, $50,000 for Tyson Nam, & $30,000 for Terence McKinney. At this event, each competitor will make a minimum of $16,000. Additionally, UFC will distribute a total of $138,000 among fighters as part of the sponsorship agreements.
