On April 22, Song vs. Simon was supposed to be the three-round co-main event of UFC Fight Night. Just days before their initially scheduled fight, Song and Simon received an upgrade after Arman Tsarukyan vs. Renato Moicano was dropped from this Saturday’s headliner. Both men experienced difficulties because they had already begun their draining weight reductions.
There will be a total of 11 professional mixed martial arts matches at the event. Yadong Song vs. Ricky Simon in the bantamweight division will be the main event. While the middleweight contest between Caio Borralho and Michal Oleksiejczuk will serve as the co-feature. It has not yet been officially announced how much money will be awarded in total for UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Simon. On the other hand, Yadong Song and Ricky Simon’s main-card battle is said to have a $180,000 purse.
