Despite losing the UFC Vegas 65 main event, Ion Cuțelaba will still return home with guaranteed $225,000 payment, including $15,000 sponsorship bonus. Meanwhile, main-event winner Kennedy NzechuKwu will receive payout of $230,000, which will include $50,000 UFC bonus and around $85,000 win bonus.

UFC Vegas 65 Full Fight Card Winner And Results
Due to Lewis’ illness, the initial main event, Derrick Lewis vs. Serghei Spivac, was cancelled midway through the show, necessitating some alterations to the itinerary. Nzechukwu and Cutelaba, two light heavyweights, stood up to compete as the main event, and it was the former who impressively defeated The Hulk in the second round. On Saturday, three-round contest between Nzechukwu and Cutelaba was elevated to the main-event status at UFC Vegas 65, but the Nigerian boxer only required two rounds to finish the job. Cutelaba had a stronger opening round and more time in control on the ground. Cutelaba tried to lock in a submission and landed a few strikes, but he was unable to win the match.
Waldo Cortes Acosta, a heavyweight prospect on the rise, defeated Chase Sherman by unanimous decision in the new co-main event. Also on the main night, Welterweight striker Muslim Salikhov stopped his opponent Andre Fialho in the third round after recovering from difficult opening round.

UFC Vegas 65 Bonus Prizes and Fight of the Night
Kennedy Nzechukwu, Muslim Salikhov, Jack Della Maddalena, & Natalia Silva each received the $50,000 “Performance of the Night” Award from UFC following their spectacular victories. Meanwhile, “Fight of the Night” Award was not presented at UFC Vegas 65. Natalia Silva was the sole competitor among these four victors who competed in the preliminary card, while the other three belonged to the main card.
