UFC Vegas 56 Purse, Payouts, Salaries, Alexander Volkov vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik Winner, Full Fight Card Results And Bonus Prize Winner

Alexander Volkov’s last disclosed pay was an $80,000 base paycheck for his decision loss against Curtis Blaydes back at UFC Vegas 3. Meanwhile, Jairzinho Rozenstruik’s last disclosed pay was a $22,000 base pay check he received at UFC 249 in a knock out loss to current UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. Hence, Volkov is likely to earn a hefty $91,000 plus amount.

One of the highest paid fighters on the card will be No. 10 ranked UFC featherweight Dan Ige, as he comes into the co-main event on Saturday to face Mosvar Evloev. The Hawaiian born UFC featherweight earned a fitting $50,000 back at UFC Jacksonville in 2020 for his most recent disclosed pay. With that, Ige is set to earn up to $60,000 for his fight against Evloev on Saturday night.

UFC Vegas 56 Full Fight Card Winner And Results

Alexander Volkov stopped fellow knockout artist Jairzinho Rozenstruik with a devastating first-round TKO at UFC Vegas 56, live on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the match, “Drago” demonstrated he’s still a strong heavyweight contender.

After a brief period of getting to know each other, both heavyweights got down to business with their hands. Rozenstruik was able to compensate for his lack of reach by tagging Volkov on several occasions. Volkov, on the other hand, unleashed a big straight right hand along the cage, levelling Rozenstruik. Volkov then landed a series of hard strikes, knocking Rozenstruik’s mouthpiece out and knocking the heavyweight to the canvas. Herb Dean, the referee, may have stopped the fight a little too early, but Volkov seemed the only possible winner.

Volkov, 33, was coming off a disheartening submission loss to Tom Aspinall his previous fight, so this was a must-win for him as he enters the second half of 2022. “Drago” still has work to do if he wants a shot at his first UFC title, but this is a huge win for him considering Rozenstruik had recently been defeated by Francis Ngannou.
