The upcoming UFC 306 marks the promotion’s second “Noche UFC”, edition celebrating Mexican Independence Day. It also marks the first time that the UFC has allowed a sponsor on with a title partner status. Following the partnership, UFC have officially rebranded the upcoming event as “Riyadh Season Noche UFC”.
According to UFC CEO Dana White, the event will present the history of combat in Mexico from the past till the present. White also added that they have exceeded a $20 million budget for the production of the one-time only event. Meanwhile, UFC chief content officer Craig Borsasi also shared how they have prepared six film clips about Mexico’s contribution to combat sports. The promotion will play those videos between bouts on the main card.
