So far, Adesanya who is 33 years old has a fight record of 23 wins off 25 fights in the UFC with 15 knockouts. Meanwhile, the 35-year-old Pereira has won 7 fights out of his eight UFC fights. He won six of those fights by knockouts and one by decision.
Interestingly, Israel Adesanya has lost three straight fights against Pereira across two sports. Adesanya lost against Pereira in two kickboxing fights in 2016 and 2017 respectively, and one UFC middleweight title bout.
