Commentary roaster of UFC 284
On the commentary team, we will see Jon Anik return along with Dominick Cruz, a former middleweight champion and two-time UFC champion, and Michael Bisping, a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. Notably, this will be the first time Michael Bisping, Dominick Cruz, and Jon Anik call a PPV event together.
Brendan Fitzgerald, who will be the host of the post-fight show, is another option. Anthony Smith, the fifth-ranked light heavyweight, and Michael Chandler, the fifth-ranked lightweight, will join the cast, along with Laura Sanko, who will serve as an analyst. The pre-and post-fight interviews with the fighters backstage will be handled by veteran UFC writer John Gooden, who will also provide further updates during the event.
Why won’t Joe Rogan be at UFC 284?
Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier, who have both missed a number of events outside of North America, will not be a part of the commentary crew at UFC 284, as was already mentioned. Because of his hectic schedule that includes podcasting, standup commentary, and other commitments, it is safe to anticipate that the seasoned UFC analyst will be missing the event.
Why won’t Daniel Cormier be at UFC 284?
The previous champion Daniel Cormier’s absence is now unclear, which is odd given his familiarity with Islam Makhachev. Returning to Rogan, he is still quite enthusiastic about the next fight even if he won’t be taking part in UFC 284. Rogan was really eager to discuss the main event fight on The Joe Rogan Experience with Sean O’Malley.
Joe predicts that Volkanovski will struggle mightily in his attempts to challenge Islam. For starters, Rogan thinks Islam is a genuine lightweight. In addition, any lightweight, let alone a featherweight like Volkanovski, would find his wrestling, grappling, and sheer strength to be very difficult. Islam’s striking was apparently the main thing to worry about, however, he has subsequently improved.
As a result, it would seem that Rogan firmly favours Islam in the contest and will undoubtedly watch it. Even though he won’t be present for this fight card, Rogan will undoubtedly return to his position as a commentator for the other bouts this year.
