UEFA revealed all the list of nominees for the UEFA awards 2021 including the women’s player of the year. Moreover, all three players play for Barcelona as the Spanish Club dominated in the Women’s Champions League. Jennifer Hermoso, Lieke Martens, Alexia Putellas are the players nominated for the award.

UEFA composes a jury who votes for these awards. Furthermore, the coaches of teams who made it into the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League along with the coaches of the 12 highest-ranked teams in the latest UEFA women’s national team ranking and 20 journalists form the jury. All the members are asked to cast their vote for three players where they will award them by giving them five, three and one point.
