UEFA Unveils New Ball For Euro 2020 Semi-Finals And Finals

UEFA announced that a new ball will be used in the fixtures of semifinals and finals at the Euro 2020

England will face Denmark whereas the 2012 Champions Spain will face the Italian team in the semifinals.

The semifinals and finals of the UEFA Euro 2020 will witness a new ball at the Wembley Stadium. Moreover, the ball looks like an upgraded version of the ball which was used in the tournament. In the first semifinal, Spain will face Italy whereas in the second favorites England will face the underdogs Denmark. The new ball will be used in the three matches which are played at the Wembley Stadium.

The new ball Uniforia Finale is set to be used in the semifinals and finals fixtures. Furthermore, the ball comes up with little changes when compared with the older ball which was used throughout the tournament. The ball has a new addition of silver patches which are bear in colors. The ball also has a new arch which looks pretty much similar to the arch of Wembley Stadium.

The ball was unveiled by UEFA on Twitter. Also, the semifinalist teams were provided the new ball to practice.

UEFA also posted photos of images of teams practicing with the new ball.

The UEFA Euro 2020 ball was unveiled in November 2020 and they named it Uniforia. The name was given after the term unity and euphoria. The term Euphoria was used for the top-level competition that these teams will provide. Moreover, the new ball is named as Uniforia finale and will be used in the semifinals and finals of Euro 2020.

Earlier, in FIFA tournaments a special ball was used for the final matches with some special changes. The ball is manufactured by Adidas and it has the Euro 2020 logo on it. Also, the ball has some fancy colors on it with some silver patches on it.

Semifinals will be played on 7th and 8th July at the Wembley Stadium. The match will start at 12:30 AM IST.
