By winning their quarterfinal matches in March, France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain secured their spots in the Nations League finals. During the league phase, which lasted from September to November 2024, the four League A champions faced the four runners-up in the final eight games.

UEFA Nations League prize money
The Nations League prize money for this year has not yet been revealed.
But according to reports, Spain’s 2023 win brought in about £8.8 million.
Second place Croatia lost the final, but they still received slightly over £7.5 million.
Third place received £6.7 million, while fourth place received £5.9 million.
This time, the prizes might be different, but the payment should be comparable. UEFA may make the precise numbers public after the tournament is over.
At the 2022-2023 Nations League, Spain collected 10.5 million euros ($11.7m) for winning the event, while runners-up Croatia received 9 million euros.
The winning team’s trophy represents all 55 UEFA National associations and is made of sterling silver and trophy weighs 7.5 kg and is 71 cm tall and is intended to resemble a multi-coloured flag wrapped around a flag pole.
Replica trophies awarded to winners of the competition must remain within the relevant association’s control at all times and may not leave the association’s country without UEFA’s prior written consent.
The winning team is presented with 40 gold medals, the runner-up with 40 silver medals and the third-placed team with 40 bronze medals and no additional medals are given.
