The governing body of European football has revealed three names for the UEFA men’s player of the year award. Moreover, the award is given to the player for his outstanding achievements with the club and national team in the last season.
As every year, three players have been shortlisted by the jury which consists of coaches and journalists. Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Jorginho, and N’Golo Kante are nominated for the award. Jorginho and Kante won the Champions League with Chelsea, whereas De Bruyne won the Premier League and reached the final of UCL. Jorginho has the advantage as he won the Euro 2020 with Italy.
