2024 UEFA Euro schedule, date, stadiums, draw, & qualified teams
Germany, as the host nation, secured automatic qualification, a customary practice in international competitions. The remaining 20 countries earned spots in the six groups through qualifying matches, leaving three spots for the March 2024 Play-offs’ winners. Wales faces a challenging Path A, while Ukraine aims to secure a spot in Path B, seeking redemption after a disallowed penalty against Italy in their final qualifying match.
A total of €331 million will be distributed among the 24 national associations, with a base figure of €9.25 million for merely qualifying. Additionally, each win earns a country €1 million, and each draw, €500k. Advancement to the Round of 16 brings €1.5 million, with increasing rewards for further stages: €2.5 million for the quarter-finals, €4 million for the semi-finals, €5 million for the runners-up, and €8 million for the winners. Winning all group stage matches and the trophy could fetch a maximum of €28.25 million.
