UEFA introduced the Conference League Trophy back in 2021 alongside the creation of the tournament itself. While the tournament is new, the Trophy stands as a meaningful achievement, particularly for clubs starting out in European football.

UEFA Conference League Trophy cost and dimensions
The Conference League Trophy roughly weighs around 11 kilograms and stands at a height of 57.5 cm. The trophy is slightly lighter and shorter than the Europa League Trophy, but it is still visually striking. Although UEFA hasn’t released the official cost, the trophy is valued at approximately €100,000, based on its materials and craftsmanship.

The trophy is crafted by renowned design firm Pentagram, and features 32 hexagonal spines, representing each team in the group stage. The spines spiral upwards in a twist and create a dynamic sense of movement. While the base of the trophy features hand-brushed brass, the top half is made of polished silver. The overall design of the trophy reflects the open and accessible nature of the competition.

Just like other major UEFA tournaments, the winners of the Conference League receive medals. The winners of the Conference League will receive 40 gold medals in total, while the runners-up will receive 40 silver medals. These medals serve as a recognition of the efforts of players, coaches, and key backroom staff who played a role in the team’s journey to the final.

Comparatively, the Conference League offers smaller financial rewards than the UEFA Champions or Europa League. However, the prize money is still significant, especially for smaller clubs. The winning team will receive roughly €3 million ($3.3 million) for winning the final.
Aside from the prize money, the winning team also receive earnings from the group stage, knockout rounds, and broadcasting revenue. As a result, a club can make around €15 million ($16.5 million) throughout the competition. The team that wins the UEFA Conference League trophy also secures a spot in the next season’s Europa League, which comes with a financial boost.
