Notably, the playoff draw will involve the 16 teams that finish in positions 9th to 24th in the league standings. These teams will be split into two groups: seeded (9th to 16th) and unseeded (17th to 24th). The top eight teams from the league phase will automatically advance to the last 16, with their draw set for February 21, 2025. The focus of the upcoming draw will be on the remaining 16 teams, who will be paired according to their rankings. Teams finishing between 25th and 36th will be eliminated.
The knockout phase playoff games will be contested over two legs. The first leg will take place on February 11 and 12, 2025, with the second leg scheduled for February 18 and 19, 2025. These games will be crucial as teams battle to secure a place in the Champions League’s last 16, continuing their pursuit of European glory. On the silver side of the bracket, the matchups will be 17th/18th versus 15th/16th, 23rd/24th versus 9th/10th, 21st/22nd versus 11th/12th, and 19th/20th versus 13th/14th. On the blue side of the bracket, the matchups will be 20th/19th versus 14th/13th, 22nd/21st versus 12th/11th, 24th/23rd versus 10th/9th, and 18th/17th versus 16th/15th.

9th through16th will play the 2nd leg at home.
There will be two draws after the league phase and the first draw on Friday January 31 at 11am will determine which of the two options each team will get in the knockout playoff, for example, a team finishing 13th will find out whether they are playing against the team finishing 19th or 20th.
Teams seeded from 1st to 8th will have to wait until Friday February 21 to find out their opponents and that draw will determine their round of 16 team.
