Citing his conviction that Sanatana Dharma is hostile to social justice and equality, he claimed that it should not only be opposed but also “eradicated.” Stalin’s remarks drew sharp criticism, with BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya accusing him of effectively calling for the genocide of the 80% of the population in India that follows Sanatana Dharma.
Malviya questioned whether this stance is consistent with the agreements reached at the most recent meeting of the opposition coalition in Mumbai, where the DMK, a longtime partner of the Congress, played a significant role.
After receiving criticism, Udhayanidhi Stalin clarified his remarks, denying that he had advocated for the “genocide” of adherents of the Sanatana dharma. Under the direction of Chief Minister MK Stalin, he highlighted his dedication to defending social justice and constructing an equitable society and asserted his preparedness to confront any legal problems. He reaffirmed his unshakeable commitment to opposing Sanatana Dharma’s hold over the Dravidian people.
