UAE T20 League Dubai Capitals have announced its team for the first edition T20 League, know the list of players overseas, and the team squad for ILT20 2023
A franchise of Delhi Capitals, Dubai Capitals has announced the list of players to be introduced in the first edition of the UAE T20 League.

Dubai Capitals have put the emphasis on signing more utilitarian players over star players. The capitals have picked the most players from Sri Lanka, around five Sri Lankan International cricketers will feature for the Capitals in the league. The Sri Lankan names include, Dasun Sanaka, Isuru Udana, Niroshan Dickwella, Dushmantha Chameera and Bhanuka Rajpaksha.
Dubai’s capitals have also invested in some Zimbabwean and Afghan players. Sikandar Raza and Blessing Muzarbani have been both signed from Zimbabwe. Sikandar Raza was brilliant with his bat in Internation Cricket for Zimbabwe while Blessing Muzarbani had a great season in the Pakistani Super League (PSL).
While from Afghanistan, the hard-hitting better Hazartullah Zazai will feature for the Capitals in the League. Another player from Afghanistan is spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman, who has also played in IPL for the likes of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.
Surprisingly, the Dubai Capitals have just signed an Englishman, Dan Lawrence. Other players include, Fred Klassen who plays for the Netherlands and George Munsey, a Scots player. Dubai Capitals has signed two Carribean T20 star players, Rovman Powell and left arm spinner Fabian Allen will feature for the Capitals.

The United Arab Emirates’ inaugural T20 season is expected to run between January and February 2023. The league will be held in the UAE, where six teams will compete. The tournament will be a round robin and playoff and there will be a total of 34 league matches.
